Throughout her residencies at OOST, Garage Noord and Operator, Verity’s sound has been shaped by the bedrock dance floor configuration of a cherished club space and the deeply exploratory nature of radio. It has always been clear however, that this is not even close to the full extent of it all. Harbouring explosiveness and bliss at the core, her surefire sets at festivals like Dekmantel Selectors, Zeezout and The Crave have provided highlight moments summer after summer. Jack of all trades, master of many.

Adept at adapting if you will. It’s the result of years spent in places around the globe from Detroit to the UK and Japan, with music discovery as a constant passion. It’s why she’ll lock any audience into an unlikely equilibrium of dubstep, jungle, experimental club, electro and off-kilter techno. And why she knows when to push the audience past boiling point and into sheer ecstasy. The temperatures needed, only within reach thanks to the next undiscovered spark plug of an anthem. She’ll turn the inward outwards, then upside down, then bent over backwards. Telltale signs of a DJ who has stories to tell–who evokes feelings to feel.
