The Hamburg-born, Berlin-based DJ has made her mark on cult venues like Tresor, Watergate, Hör and RSO, and she is also a vital resident at the city's much-loved Mitmischen party. It is a community-minded dance floor where Freya is free to roam and explore, to lay down authentic vinyl sets that tell emotional stories. Inspired by female peers like Adiel, Marie Montexier and Ogazon, she plays with infectious passion and has crafted a signature style which is never in a rush, never about big drops, but instead focuses on building up patiently, with great intrigue and plenty of underlying tension.

Freya is a formally trained classical vocalist who understands the importance of dynamics in her sets. She contrasts light with dark, the hypnotic with the ecstatic and plays with energy levels by weaving in raved-up synth lines, edgy vocals or emotional chords that keep dancers on their toes.
